Smile I am now Rescue Certified!!!

Well, it was a tiring day, and it starting out kinda shaky. Once we all got to the site, our instructor said we should reschedule. But we stuck around for a little while longer, and watched the waves a bit more and realized that if we time the waves right, it would be no problem. There were some HUGE waves that would come in sets of about 3-4, then we'd have 5-10 mins. of little waves. So, out we went, did our stuff....and 3 hours later I'm DONE!

The class was strenuous, but a very good course to take. For anyone who hasn't done it, I highly recommend it

Good deal Becky, glad to see you are furthering your diving knowledge and education and your academic education also. As a scientist and diver myself I hope your career and passion intertwine as mine does.

Good luck.

P.S.

So you hop???

Just ribbing you a little about the typo in your profile that says you will hop. I think it may have been that you ran out of characters before you ran out of sentence.

Anyway I am a freshwater mussel biologist. See link on sig line. What field do you hop to specialize in?

I'm applying for a M.S. in Marine Biology. My goal is to eventually work for NOAA or the Fish and Wildlife (but really NOAA would be my first choice).
