Oh what a wonderful feeling!

Just went diving today. My second dive in cold water in 20 years. Found a buddy on Craigs List and we dove Alki Wa just 5 minutes from my home. I e-mailed him to thank him for the dive and this was his reply.

"Sean!

Thank YOU for the dive bro! I appreciate the patience. It's been a few
months since my last dive, and I was getting my buoyancy down/weight ratio
with the drysuit with my last dives. I forgot all of that! So now I'm kind
of back to square one, but honestly with your help today, I feel much more
comfortable and confident. In fact honestly I'd have to say that you were
more attentive than dive masters who've supervised me on cert. dives!"

Reminds me how much I loved assisting in classes. I love diving soo much, and helping others to enjoy it as well is so rewarding. The sun was shining and we were both really easy going about the dive. I found a weight belt with 20lb soft and 10lb hard, just to put a cherry on top.

Best feeling in the world is helping somebody else to discover something new or again.

Well done, sir.
