For the rest of you, can you carve a pumpkin? Underwater? Without cutting youself? If so, the ScubaDillo Dive Club is holding their Annual Pumpkin Dive at Tyler State Park on 13-14 October just for you. Our monthly meeting is Thursday, 4 October at 7:30 (6:30 social hour) for more details.

If you're an Okie or Arkie and live close by Tyler, we want you too. We'll get details of the location to you. You don't have to be there both days. Camping is available if you do.

I Googled it to see if I could find viz info. No luck.

But then, you're carving a pumpkin; so if you can see to the end of your arm (holding knife in your hand)...well, viz is GOOD ENOUGH!!!

well, just by coincidence, I am booked for a trip to Bonaire with my son. But an experienced guide would sure be nice. Not to mention someone who is experienced in moderating because my son tends to think he is right even when I know I am right and then he has the audacity to prove it.
And of course, you are invited. See, I would not talk about going to Bonaire without at least inviting you.

And since you are going before me, perhaps you will post a big report advising us of the best places to eat, the best dive spots, etc. I did get that little book, Shore Diving Made Easy but a first hand accounting would be so much better.

We have folks show-up at our monthly dives who are not members. It's a great way to meet the members in a relaxed armosphere. The 'Dillos have their monthly meeting on the first Thursday each mont (4 October) at LBJ and Midway at Midway Point Restaurant. Social hor at 6:30, meeting (with speaker) at 7:30.
