The real threat to descending fast is not being able to halt the descent and colliding with something under the surface . . . which if you're doing a wreck or cave and mess up your day real quick.
But there's no physiological danger as there is from too rapid an ascent. |

mmm negative entry.. i try ot get down as fast as i can on drift dives so i dont miss the site.. once i am on the ground ill kneel down and wait for the group and watch them descend.. that way atleast i am on the site and they can come to me
