braces
My 14 year old dives and has top braces and the 'bars' that are hooked from the top jaw to the bottom jaw. This is moving her bottom teeth out. We dove recently and she was complaining that it was uncomfortable.
any ideas?

are they the springs that are connected? if they are just rubberbands, remove them.
it is because the mouthpiece is moving the jaw into a certain position,, unacustom to the mouth normally. may try a diff mouthpiece such as a comfobite with the bridge on the top of the mouth, helps it stay into the mouth very well
