I was just wandering if anyone ever had an encounter with a shark ? Explain Please

I would love to see some pics if ya have them... i dont know sharks amaze me out of all the whales and mantas and sealife ?

Being from Hawai'i, I've seen quite a few. Usually just white tip reef sharks, but sometimes grey reef, galapagos, and sandbar sharks. I've only seen a tiger while surfing, and that wasn't too much fun. I can't wait to see one while diving, though. They're not as scary when you can see them well.

Look at my avatar, 1st oneI'd ever seen.Made my mask leak, I was smiling from ear to ear. Came over a ridge in Coz seen the#60 grouper 1st , looked down seen him or her and had to clear my mask.Just hung around and watched never know when youmight see another.It was hard to surface after that. Although, thought I'd have to chase my wife down(ocean dreamer) but she did good. Like i tell my wife all youhave to do is out swim the slowestperson.

seen them, never gotten close enough to worry. i think they're amazing, and hopefully i'll keep seeing them when i dive

My first shark was a 7' Nurse Shark in Cozumel. I'll forever remember the siting and the feeling I had while watching it swim by.

Tons. They're really cool!

Never met any that have a history of diver attacks, however (unless provoked, of course). So no GW's or anything like that. Tons of smaller ones, though, and some medium sized ones.

Six gills here in BC a couple of years ago. Saw the same one three times. Scared the you-know-what out of me the first time I saw it. It was merely curious about us and just wanted to say hi.
