Tell Japan No More Dead Dolphins

northamerica.oceana.org: Action Center
Last year, 25,000 WaveMakers contacted the Japanese Embassy, calling for an end to Japan's annual dolphin hunt. But the Japanese government chose to respond by upping its quota this year. We need to generate even more public outcry on this issue, to make our voice heard. How many letters are enough? We'll know it when the hunt is called off. Maybe getting this posted to the Scuba Forums will help generate even more letters and public awareness. It's not very often that you see a dolphin while diving, but when you do it makes the dive a very memorable one. It would be a shame not to ever see one in the wild.

i'm considering boycotting japanese resturants.....i just want a sane, civil way to do that and get my message TO them that i will not eat in their resturants because of this reason....but i don't know...haven't made up my mind....don't want to penalize the wrong people...they may have nothing to do with it and may not support it anyway......but there has got to be something we can do!!!

I think there is not much we can do without getting our government behind it by stopping imports of seafood or something like that. Japan has already shown they don't care what other people think.
