Color Blindness and Scuba Diving
Eye sight deteriorates as we age. As divers, we understand colors of the spectrum are lost as we decend.
I never realy thought how the two might be related, until I came across this on another site about Diving Medicine. http://www.myschool.com/SWF/ColorBlind2.swf Hope it helps.

It was a time before insurance liabilities, lawsuits or beauracratic regulation of the "sport". Guerrilla divers didn't need "Buoyancy Compensator Vests". In fact, "Anyone who needs a BC deserves to drown" was a popular adage. Exploration and the Hunt came first, excitement and fun followed.
