First place goes to "Blue Planet".

Second place goes to "Underwater Detectives" on the History Channel.

No one probably saw this coming....my vote goes to SHARKWATER. It won't be as popular right now because so many haven't had the opportunity to see it...but it will come to DVD in not too long so i encourage you to buy it when it does....and call your local theater if you want it to come to somewhere locally....that can definitly make an impact! The video is amazing and it doesn't feel like you are watching a documentary AT ALL because it has plot and story and it is REAL!!!...check out the trailer here:

SHARKWATER - In US theaters November 2

My favorite was the National Geographic show on Truk Lagoon. Still want to go there.

Blue Planet ranks #1 on my list. That may change when I see Sharkwater.

Blue planet was actually one of the factors that prodded me to finally get certified. Been wanting to all these years, but that show helped make it happen. Of course, the water in those shows didn't look like the brown mud I dove in for my OW cert dives!

Blue Planet without a doubt.
I also enjoy Deep Sea Detectives, but only in reruns now
Can't wait to see Sharkwater.
