Good luck, have fun and pay attention to the instructors.

I enjoyed my AOW quite alot as it opened my eyes to a lot of extra specialties out there. Also opened up a lot more opportunities world wide.

Where are your dives going to be done at?

Last time I was at Catalina, I took a little snorkeling trip in their preserve right next to the main port. They gave us 5-mil shorties to wear. Brrrr! I hope you have a little more than that to wear for your dives!

Catilina will be a bit cold-Steve scuba and I must have had the same outfitter. A bit cold in a shorty glad I had a hood too-I hate icecream headaches and cold water gives you the worst one you will ever have.

Shaws cove is a good one too. Have fun.

Woooh, Catalina in November. That's 7mil suit with hood time.
I quit diving in cold water after diving SoCal once in November.
