Those ST guys....
Those Scuba Toys guys sure are smart. Whenever I post, I look at the count and think, how many more times do I have to think up something to write until I reach my 250.
What is the point? Surely, those guys know we are posting away in a selfish ploy to get more gear at a discount. We like the forum, they dont have to pay us to post, what is the point? Then it hit me, ah ha, I got it. They are performing a public service and helping us all. They are even paying for the instruction instead of the other way around. When I took writing courses in school, I was taught write away, write everything you can think of and then go back and paraphrase paragraghs into sentences, cut words, cut phrases and insert a word instead. Get concise in the editing, and in doing so, the piece will be shorter and better present what the writer is trying to say. So, ya see, by getting us to write and write and write, they are helping us become better writers. And this writing course pays us, isnt that incredible? No wonder you have our loyalty, you guys go to the extreme for your customers. Thanks. P.S. I never ever use the write, edit and paraphrase methods here, it is better to just ramble. That way, you know how excited I am about my new gear and diving. ![]() |

They're sneaky too. I tried to use my gift certificate on an order and It was (accidentally) not appiled to the total. They told me I could just use it on my next order (acually it was my suggestion).
That way I'll be more likely to order since I still have my gift certificate. Sneaky Guys! But I see through your ploy! I'll show you by ordering even more!!!!!!! |

I just wished I would get to my 250 quickly. I can't wait to get my gears, so that I can dive more.
That's the ploy... 250 is a while away, so we buy, then we post more, then we reach, then we buy again... $10 to buy first, then buy without, then buy when get to 250 posts... at least three times of buying. hehe. Except, I am resisting, but I am slowly dying on the inside... I NEED GEARS!!! |
