Cool Three Minute+ Safety Stop

So what do you do during this time....are you thinking through a skill or trying to figure out the grand unifying theory of everything while the clock ticks or just hanging out like a hair in a biscut?

Practice skills, such as fin pivots, buddy breathing, mask clearing etc. Or you can try to blow air rings, I haven't mastered that as of yet, but one of my buddies is pretty good at it.

Look around - here in NC you're likely to see baracuda, spadefish, and who knows what else while hanging at 15'. Sometimes it's cool just to stare off into the deep blue water and ponder how small you are compared to the expanse of ocean.

awsome picture, you should have him put a ScubaToys sicker on his mask and enter it in their photo contest.

Cool Pic.

To answer the question, most of the time we are just hanging out, but for the most part looking around checking out the scenery.

I usually just think about how the dive went and decide how my bouyancy was during the dive. Then I will practice skills like mask removal and buddy breathing.
