Cool, since you are in CA I will assume it was an ocean dive.

You get to see a different group of characters in the ocean at night ...huh? Let's see you probably had what, about half a moon, more or less?

That is cool Chewy. I enjoy night diving here as well, but with the dirty lakes and low vis just about every dive is a night dive. I do like the night dives though as the lake is more peaceful and you get to see more of the nocturnal activities of the fish.

During my PADI AOW course I was going to do a night dive but instead decided to do other ones because I was going to do night specialty anyway and didn't want to do just a local dive I want to go up to Chicago to do my dives. Then go out for some awesome Chicago style pizza!!

For reefs I like night dives more then day dives myself. Although it's nice to see the reef in the day and then do a night dive.

Shaws cove should have been excellent. I never did a night dive there, but the day dives were awsome. Maybe next time I'm in CA.
