Let us not forget
I was just thinking yesterday, as I was stuffing my face with all of those Thanksgiving goodies my wonderful wife prepared, There is an awful lot of hype about supporting our troops in Iraq. I totally agree with those statements, but let us not forget, in this time of thanks, our troops in other parts of the world that perform their mission for the United States and other freedom loving countries. They deserve our thanks as well. They deserve our support and appreciation as much as do our military people in the Iraqi Theater. These folks are away from home and away from their families as well.
Granted, some of these postings are not in harms way, but in the current political climate, they deserve our thanks and support too. Good luck and Godspeed to all of our military, wherever they serve. I have a friend that has returned from Iraq after about 2 years and I am very thankful for his safe return.
