A Blue Marlin diving down and taking a grunt. Only lasted about 2 seconds. This happened at the Flower Gardens. Capt. Frank of the Spree said it was the first time he has ever heard of this there. He said it was probably a Sailfish, so my dive buddy and I got out the ID books, and it was diffantly a Blue Marlin about 6 to 8 feet long not counting it's sword. It all happened about 20 feet from us at about 75 ft. down on Stetson Bank.

The coolest thing I have seen so far is a wolf eel. Still want to see a 6 gill.

The wolf eels are truly great, and I have been blessed to see them on several occasions (usually pretty deep)...I also saw a six-gill at night where we weren't supposed to see it (we swam slowly alongside for about 10 minutes, and we cut off the encounter). You will love it.

Well let's see, I am easily amazed at times. I love to see the Sea Horses, Octopus, Hammerhead Shark, big sculpin and such.
