Excuses for Purchasing Gear...

I tried to pull one over on the parents, telling them I was suffering from nitrogen narcosis when I put my computer on their credit card for Christmas. What have you folks used?

My dad lost past of our sailboat to the bottom of the lake at the cottage. I needed a 7mm wetsuit to get it as the bottom temp is in the 50s. He agreed pay for 1/2 of the suit.

This case, your problems are solved. Simply buy HER the cool gear that you want and she'll have to reciprocate.

That quit working on my wife. The last time I used it she said "Lets just increase your life insurance instead."

So the last time when she asked what I wanted for my B-Day I said "How about a re-breather?" Not being a diver, she had no idea what one was. But then again she's really not sure of the differences between a reg & a BC. She then asked "What does 1 cost?". I told her I found a good used 1 on E-bay for about $4500. I got my new Mach V wing with no questions asked.

My wife is a diver so we have a 'Diving Gear' fund that we put money into from each of our checks.
