I can't acess you tube from work, if this is the one from the red sea, there's another one that shows the diver at 200m before recovery.

it is the one from the red sea and i've heard all kinds of interpretations.. one being it was a filmed suicide while others say he was going for the bottom but his gear failed and he was narc'd so he didnt respond...

Something about that being an accident just doesn't add up. As an instructor he had to know that his descent was incredibly rapid and he would have checked his computer before hitting the bottom. It also looks like he was in "freefall" position all the way down, never going head up and kicking to slow his descent.

Good lesson here after re-watching it- NEVER, EVER split up or separate far from your dive buddy!! Glad I had good instructors that ingrained it in me.....
