M/V Pacific Provider Blog, The Adventure Begins

Greetings fellow Seekers.....

As some of you may have read a couple of weeks ago, I have landed the job of my lifetime. I am the Executive Chef (and charge of all on-board, non-maritime activities) aboard the M/V Pacific Provider, the 160´mothership of the Eastern Pacific Yacht Club. We will be venturing between San Diego and Panama throughout the year following the "bite".

We have a dive locker on board (which is also in my charge) and we are associated loosely with the Scripps Institute. (We are non-profit with proceeds going to Scripps) There will be many adventures and stories etc over the course of the next days, months, years (I Hope!)

At the suggestion of Larry, I have started a website and blog to chronicle the voyages of the PacPro. I have the blog up and running, and website is underconstruction.....I will be posting our location, pictures, fishing reports, diving reports, conditions, stories, recipes from the galley, and insights into the daily life onboard the PacPro.

Just wanted to let you know, the adventure begins today! Its my last day of "dry" work and on the 15th of March I report for duty. check it out! Ill do my best to give you a glance into our life at sea.
