FS: Nice set of starter gear cheap!

We put this together for a friends daughter who we were trying to help get into scuba, but her parents have decided she can't do it .

Anyway, It's really a nice set of entry level stuff for a new diver on a budget. The regs were checked out by our LDS and got a clean bill of health. The gauges have the LCD bottom timer, and a retractor and clip DIY'd on the back of them, and they work perfectly. The BC is jacket style, non weight integrated, and is in very clean shape. Also included is a nice little cheapy 35mm camera with housing, I used it a few times and it works good.
$225 for the whole deal! Someone else may as well get some use out of it.
Here's a detailed list of everything included:

    Seaquest jacket BC, size Med.
Sherwood Brut reg set with Dacor gauges, and LP inflator hose.
New Power Play fins, open heel, never been in the water.
1 pair womens size 8 booties, 5mm, zip up.
1 pair mens size 10 booties, 3mm, slip on.
New Tilos mask, been in water twice.
    Body glove semi-dry snorkel.
Snap sights 35mm camera w/housing. Rated to 120ft.

I also have a pocket weight belt I'll throw in with the deal. I can load it with some lead, but that will add to shipping costs greatly.

Actually, none of this stuff is specifically "womens". It's all unisex.

The BC should fit anyone in the 120 to 160 lb range (maybe even 170+ if they are tall). The girl we got it for was 5'2" 130lbs, and it fit her great. I'm 5'10" 195lbs and it was a little too tight. My wife is 5'5" 145 lbs, and it fit her fine too. Hope that narrows down the sizing a bit.

I also just found a gear bag I'll throw in with the deal!

I may be interested in the Reg Set and gauges.....who knows what else. I just live down the road in Branson......maybe I could stop by and take a look or meet you at the lake and look them over. Let me know.

Silly question, but when did her parents decide it wasn't going to work? 10 years ago? Aren't those Sherwood Regs much older models?? my guess is that you put together the set of entry level used gear...correct?

BTW... LOVE your collection of Jackson(and other) guitars on the other thread. Thinking about buying a Jackson actually.

Hell no, Mr. Obvious, this is all brand spanking new gear! Didn't you know that you can buy a complete set of brand new gear for $225? I thought everyone knew that Mr. Obvious. Sorry if my listing was mis-leading.

Wasn't trying to bust chops. You said that it was being sold for $225 now maybe as a fire sale, not what the gear was purchased for by her and her parents. Was curious about the story as sometimes it does matter when purchasing things by people you don't know. As you know, buying things on the internet is something where questions should be asked prior to purchasing...no? No need to criticize me for my question...

It's all good man. I suppose I assumed everyone would know it wasn't brand new gear, but like you said, it IS the internet.
Maybe someone else could chime in with an approximate age, because I have no idea. Regardless of the age, I can tell you that the regs and BC have not seen much time in the water. I personally started out with gear quite a bit older than this stuff.
