Lake Rawlings, VA June 28,29 - Anyone Interested?

    Hey all MADD Divers,

Anyone up for a trip down to Lake Rawlings scuba park Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29? Lake Rawlings - A Scuba and Camping Park

My usual dive buddy may not be able to make it so I'm looking for a buddy.

The more the merrier, though! It would be great to meet some of you folks from the board.

I'll be driving down from DC Saturday morning, back up Sunday afternoon. Can probably take a couple passengers if anyone is interested.

Well, a lot of passers-by, but no takers from the board so far.

I'm still planning on being down there this weekend with a couple folks. I'll post a report on the conditions if I do wind up making it down there.

My dive club is having its club outing up there on the 28th, but I plan to be diving the City of Houston wreck that day.

Looks like I'm going to be hooking up with Down Under Surf and Scuba Dive Club on Saturday. I'll be driving down Saturday morning early and back Saturday night. I'd be happy to give a lift if anyone is interested in catching a ride.

Yep, that's the club. I don't make it out to too many of their quarry dives since I much prefer coastal diving. I can drive 2 hrs to Rawlings or 2 hrs to Wilmington. If I have the cash (which I do) and the wind is not blowing too much (that's the big question), I'll be a Wilmington every time.

    Have fun!

I don't blame ya! Sounds nice. The NC coast isn't quite as accessible from DC, but I hope to get out there sometime.
