    Dive Alert Plus

So, now that the dive alert plus' have been out for a little while, how do those of you that have them, like them?

Specifically durability and underwater noise level

I have had mine on a few dives now, all freshwater. So far durability has been fine. As for noise level, it's certainly louder than any other noise maker I've seen or heard, but not so loud that it's deafening. I really like it. The only negative I have on it, is it's a little larger than I'd like, but I don't see how they could really shrink it down much.

I bought one, but, due to its size, it interfereed with some other parts of the BC, so I had to return it.
Probably on another BC,or if Iwanted to move some things, it might have worked out.

I used to have the 2 separate items for above and below, it's a heck of a lot neater and more compact than that anyway, and works fine.

Ditto in my opinion...I love mine and takes less space than the two.

I like it alot, but find that I get better attention from underwater divers if I make a point of introducing them to the sound on the descent. When I dont do this, and I want to attract the attention of more than just my dive buddy...I get very mixed results. People are accustomed to the sound of the metal shakers, or a knife butt on a tank, but not "this sound".

I like mine, but the underwater 'duck' takes some 'warming up' before it works properly.
