Kudos to Zeagle for a great experience

I just had a great experience from Zeagle customer service and I wanted to share it on the boards here with you guys.

I went diving 2 weekends ago, and when I came up from my second dive, I noticed the black "Z" logo on my octopus was gone. Being that this is a fairly new reg, I was disappointed. I sent Scott an IM through yahoo and explained what had happened. Although this was strictly a cosmetic problem, I'm a bit anal and wanted my regulators to look like their supposed to. (75% of diving is looking good, ya know! )

Scott referred me to Jim, the regulator expert. I emailed Jim and explained what happened and told me that it must have been a defect in the molding process and immediately mailed out a replacement cover for my octo.

I got my replacement in the mail yesterday and discovered that he had emailed me an entire set of regulator covers! One was gray with the black logo, one was yellow with the black logo for the octo, and a very cool black cover with a gray logo! Also inclosed was a very nice personal (not a canned response) letter! I was stoked. I emailed my thanks, and wanted to also share my story with the ScubaToys community!

Thanks again Zeagle! My experience was not only painless, but a pleasure!

Exactly why I'm not considering anything but a Zeagle BC.

Both my regs and bc are Zeagle. I kind of wish I would have saved up and got the n2ition 3 computer though. That'll be a future upgrade i guess.

    I bought that computer...

    It is awesome !

Just be careful about the compass, you have to use it level just like a regular compass, or you will get a false bearing

    Awesome piece of kit

WOW, that must have been a huge email attachment!

    Zeagle rocks.

Yup, Zeagle Customer Service -and Scott!- are awesome! Had my first experience with them after buying my Zena BC. One of the front panels started changing color - a purely cosmetic issue - but I really wasn't happy with the two-toned look. Checked in with Zeagle, and they took back the bad panel and replaced it at no cost to me. 2nd time was more serious. Just a few days before leaving for Bonaire we discovered my DH's bladder bungee was about to come apart at the end. Checked in with Scott thru the Boards, and he FedEx'd new bungees so we would have them before the trip. If my Zena ever bites the dust (which may be years away it's made so well!) Zeagle would be my first choice for a new BC. You just can't beat the way they back their products ...
