Bay of Green Bay wrecks buoyed

After several weeks, all the wrecks in the Bay of Green Bay buoyed. They are as follows:

    Jenny Bell
    May Queen
    Hackley
    Wisconsin
    Brown

I believe there are one or two divers on this site that might dive those wrecks. If so, happy diving.

Three teams did the job. The wife and I completed the Jenny Bell. Here is a mini-report.

Jenny Bell: We had 30' of vis with crystal clear water. Two thermoclines (interesting for this time of year) at 70' and 50'. Bottom temp was 43 deg with each thermocline only about 1 deg warmer. This report is two weeks old.

Hackley: We dove this last weekend along with M&M Diving who was already tied up. Vis was amazing at probably 30'. Didn't even need lights. Temp was around 43 deg with no thermoclines. I've never had this type of vis on the Hackley so the wife and I did a double. On our 2nd dive, we really explored off the wreck.

Brown: We haven't dove this yet but the crew the buoy'd it reported 15' of vis. No info on water temp but they said it was a very nice dive.

Hope this helps and happy diving.

I've dove the Jenny Bell...would love to do all of them. Alas, but I am a poor displaced cheddar head who can only longingly gaze at an azimuth of 41.9 degrees (True) and know I am 729.15 miles from a wonderful wreck dive. Thanks for posting.

Also: Neptune's Wreck list for North East Wisconsin has a good list of wrecks in and around Green Bay (Door County, Little Sturgeon Island, Poverty Island, etc.)

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)
