This Could Be Fun For Everbody

How many of us have horrible memories when it comes to important dates?
Do you have the bad memory or does your partner?
Do you help them remember and how?

By important dates I mean wedding anniversaries, birthdays,...etc.

Give us an example and maybe no one will get in trouble(guys):

    I will start:
1.finflippers is awful with dates but does remember our anniversary 12/17/00, my birthday 12/27/68, our daughter's birthday 03/12/87, and most important of all our grandson 11/10/06. He is terrible with anything else.

    2. He is not only awful the dates but names so when we are in a crowd I try to remember as many names as possible...so that when he gets stuck he can tug at his ear and I try to work the person's name in to the conversation.

It works out great. People never even realize that I have signaled Scuba Widow to tell me their names.

I've always depended on my wives and girlfriends to remember dates and names. At any gathering, as we approach a couple or they approach us, I'll lean over to her and ask "Who are these people? Why do I know them? What's important?" As I greet them, I do so by name. Without a great wing-person, I'd be lost.

Smoothywife and I got married on Valentines Day of 1999 for a reason. She couldn't remember her own birthday. It's worked so far and she's never forgotten our anniversary. Of course I remind her a week before but it's something.

not too bad with dates myself but my mother once sent an anniversary card to my brother and his wife. Only problem was the anniversary date was that of the previous wife. Doh!

I cant remember a date to save my life. i have to depend on the wife to keep me straight. I also suck at names, which leaves me embarrased when we run into someone I work with and I'm supposed to introduce the wife. She thinks I'm embarrassed of her when in fact I couldn't remember their names. I swear I'm going to have dementia by 50.
