    Texas flag on top?
Yep, having the "pole" extended a little farther down my arm to make room for the dive flag.

Not that I know anything about Tattoo's but if you are in the DFW area I would suggest checking out Deborah Brody at Love-n-Hate Tattoo Studio.

Dallas Tattoo Artist / Love-N-Hate Tattoo Studio

She does excellent custom work and is fantastic at cover-ups. You can feel free to drop my name, might help you out.

Nice work on the back piece, great color and shading.

I can't think of a downside to getting your pole extended.
Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

I like the idea of an old dive helmet, like a Mark V. Here's a shirt that looks pretty cool.

Any special precautions you need to take if you are diving with a new tatoo?

    Yes, don't do it.

    Unless you're diving dry.

Most tattoo artists will give you instructions after you leave the place, but you know how you need to keep it taped up and protected in the shower for a few weeks afterwards? From a site on tattoo care (easy to google): No soaking in water, no swimming, hot tubbing, or direct shower water beating on it for 2-3 weeks. So no diving.

Again, unless you're diving dry. And the tattoo is somewhere the drysuit keeps dry.

Just a thought, but couldn't the tatt be a potential source for a sub-cutaneous skin bend? All those puncture holes could let gas get under the top layer of skin and it might not get out again?
    Cheers, TD.

If you got that one, you'd never have to wear a shirt again.
