    Philippine Diver

    hello all,

I'm a Philippine Air Force pilot and had the opportunity to train with the US Coast Guard at the National SAR School in Virginia, USA. I got assigned to a rescue squadron and was introduced to scuba diving by the Filipino PJ's, been at it ever since. And so is my son.

    Welcome

Hi and welcome to the site ... kind of jealous you are in the Philippines and get to go diving. I'll be diving there in January for a couple weeks.

    Enjoy the dives!

    Hi and welcome.
I will be moving to Guam next month, so we kinda neighbors... heh
My son got me back into diving last year after a long absense, he is now an instructor in the Carribean.. I know a tough job but someone has to do it.
Good people here, a lot of knowledge.

Welcome, I visited the Philippines many times. Was on submarines and have many trips to Subic Bay. I wasn't a diver then so I have never dove the beautiful Islands, maybe one day I will take the 20 hour flight.

Didn't see this forum, we are going to meet our son in February for a dive vacation, he is a Grad Student in Beijing, the last time he was home he said how about meeting him in the PI during Chinese New Year and do some diving he told since I had been there when I was in the Navy in 79 I was on USS Ranger. I told him that I didn't do much when I was there except drink in Olongapo. Any suggestions you might give as to where to stay and who to dive will be much appreciated.
