    Visit Scubatoys????

So I have a business trip to San Antonio next month, and was thinking about flying through Dallas, and driving the rest of the way so I can stop in the Scubatoys shop.

I see how long google maps says it will take to drive, but from some locals, how long will it really take to drive from dallas to san antonio??

can you just get a longer layover in DFW? Take a cab to ST, shop and have them ship your stuff back home, cab back to DFW and then head to SAT. Not sure if this is an option, but......

Illini is a genius... I would just make sure and get a layover in dallas, shouldn't be hard... heck you could always "miss" your flight and have them reschedule you pretty easy

In the grand scheme of Dallas, Scubatoys isn't that far from the airport...probably 10-15 minute drive unless you come during rush-hour.

Actually, a separate plane ticket to San Antonio would probably cost about as much as the gas you'd spend anyway.

I need to think about this too, I live about 3-4 south near H-town. I try to face north when I pray. I just heard thunder, perhaps the Gods are PO'ed.

Depends on who you are flying. Obviously EWR is the Continental hub, thus the connection through IAH , but AA has a handful of directs to DFW each day. I was on one Wednesday morning.

    From the AA timetable

    EWR - DFW:
    6:40a - 9:10a
    10:05a - 12:45p
    12:10p - 2:40p
    1:20p - 3:55p

    DFW - SAT
    12:10p - 1:10p
    1:20p - 2:20p
    2:05p - 3:05p
    2:25p - 3:25p
    3:20p - 4:20p
    4:40p - 5:40p
    5:15p - 6:15p
    6:20p - 7:20p
    8:00p - 9:00p
    9:10pm - 10:10p

Remember ST is open to 7pm

I figured out how to get my travel department to book me through DFW, so I am supposed to land 9/14 at 12:55 in DFW, and leave for SanAntonio at 5:50, which gives me 5 hours...

I'll be seeing you on the 14th!!!
Now to discuss the PM I sent to Larry about regulators.
