I find I have to pack my housing for checked luggage. Still no carry on allowed from Canada- U.S.
How do I do this, for example. o-ring in or out?
Thanks, final count down back to Bonaire..... 11 days

With the privilege of diving, comes the responsibility of conservation.
Remove the O-ring and place in zip-lock bag. To pack the housing place something (micro fiber towel works well) between the body and back plate kinda like packing dishes to protect from jarring or the back plate sealing. Wrap a soft cloth around and pack away from hard objects that could be pushed into or up against during travel like in the middle of the t-shirts.
**Clean and inspect the O-ring on reassemble.

Nice link Devil, I saved it. I like the cooler idea for the camera bag.

No carry on bags. May take laptop in case. May take small purse 8"x10"x6".
Checked baggage rules remain the same, but vary by airlines.
Pat downs still in effect.
This from security staff at Halifax (YHZ), yesterday.
Thanks again DD!

I have had the same issues Leaving out of YVR (vancouver west coast). Tried to take my carry on and my camera bag, but was told to check my camera bag..... Getting really tight for those of us who travel with housings, strobes, rebreathers etc....
So what do you do with your camera bag? I don't want to put my DSLR in checked luggage. Going to Australia in April and worried about when I come back...any suggestions?
