What makes the Blue Heron Bridge dive site so special? I agree it is nice dive spot, but would I find simlar conditions under every other bridge in FL?

<DIV>I dove the Blue Heron Bridge once and loved it. I loved it so much, Idove a bridge in Sarasota Bay (I live near Tampa). The bridge connects Bird Key to St Armands Square. </DIV>

<DIV>The bridge has very little boat traffic, most of the boat traffic goes under the Ringling Bridge, the current is not very strong, it is more than a mile from the nearest pass to the gulf. It has an advantage to the Blue Heron, there is no fishing permitted from the bridge.</DIV>

<DIV>But, I dove this bridge 3 times, the viz was always poor (6-8 feet at best) with little fish life. It was great for stone crabs, but I wanted to find something like the Blue Heron Bridge near my home.</DIV>

<DIV>Are there any other Blue Heron Bridges?</DIV>
