That right there tells me it is my overall goal. Dam ranger ltd I just had to have. .ohhh well. Just give me a reason to buy another bc. When I drop all the weight that ranger will remind me of where I was and what got me down to where I want to be.

Big - Don't fret the details. Learn to dive, have fun and let the diving progress. I have a ranger and did a LOT of diving in before going to the BP (for doubles).

BTW - this is far cooler....
Diving Side Mount- recreational and technical instruction. Deep Down your training matters- Train Right! - Recreational Sidemount

Oops - this is the DIR subsection - time to put on the asbestos wetsuit and apologize.....

    Sorry all

    Dude, chill.

Dive first. Don't go second guessing.

Besides DIR is more than just equipment. I used a long hose (5ft) and necklaced secondary (I am not GUE certed) on 2 BC's (USD Malibu and Zeagle Stilleto) before I went to a BPW.

You can use the zeagle wing off your Ranger with a plate BTW.

When you learn to dive, you may or may not want to move to a plate.

That will properly be what sends me to a bp/w. I want to do doubles but took it out of the plan figure one day I will decide to or not. No reason to say on july 1 2011 I will buy a doubles setup.

Everyone should be doing it right as the wrong way can get tou hurt or killed.
Lets see, to dive or not to dive? Well that is a stupid question, DIVE, DIVE, DIVE, and then DIVE some more as long as it is safe!!!!!
