Red Wing... what do you think?

    Hi guys,

what do you think of a red color wing? .. instead of a conventional black.

well, it's striking, nice looking.. fashionable.

but i've heard that bright color attracts some fishes... especially those fishes that can cause harm.

need your opinions.. pros and cons... thanks

Don't worry about color attracting sharks or other fishies....as long as you don't have a flashing silver wing, you should be fine.

If you want red, go for it....just keep in mind if you decide to sell it, it might lose some value (at least on ebay). Sometimes you'll see the brightly colored custom Rangers on ebay and they don't sell as well, or for as much as all black ones for example.

Anything other than black would set you apart, red is just not my color, blue is much better.

With 200 + dives, she has yet to be eaten.

I had a red OMS 32 wing. I liked the color because it was so "in your face". People said I had to get black, so I got the red.
I already have 2 Oxycheq 30 lb wings, but when and if Patrick ever makes a run in red, I will be all over it.
A real benefit is red is more visible on the surface.
As for marine life, I would not worry about it. There was that shark week thing, light and dark contrast I think as more attractive to marine life.

    The sharks, man, the sharks.

Actually, I was just being a smarta**, but the joke looks like it fell on its face.

Carry on. Nothing to see here.
