I didn't realize Akona sold so many of these bags. I've been hauling my weights around in one for the past two years and it doesn't have a single defect; but, I've never noticed anyone else using one. Glad to know I'm not alone.

Really?!?!? Around here you better have your name on yours. Seems like a lot of divers I know have them. If you use weights at all, this bag is almost mandatory.

I've had mine for about 4 years, and it looks almost new. Well, it would if I cleaned it up a little.

My dive buddy & I both have this bag as well, & we got 10% off from Scuba Toys when we purchased them.

I've resisted the urge to clean mine as well. The white salt stains on the black canvas and green patina on the drain grommets give it more character.

Well, I don't have the green patina, but I don't live on the coast either, so my weights rarely see any salt.

The worse mine see is the waters of midwest lakes and the occasional pit.

I have the Akona bag as well, used it three years and carry 50 pounds in it. It has held up great with less than gentle use.

Don't want to cross pollinate but I use this one:

Dive Sports Heavy Duty Weight Bag

I also have an Akona. Both are built similarly but I actually prefer the mesh top of the other one. Maybe ST can roll their own for a similar price.
