I have a TUSA SCA 343. I am frustrated with setting the PO2 to 1.6 and trying to get it to default there. Also I'd like some input on what to set my Mix1 and Mix 2 if I want to dive a [email protected] of 1.6 with EAN32 to get maximum depth advantage. Thanks

I am not sure what you are asking Re; "Setting mix 1 & 2 if I want to dive a PO2 of 1.6 w/ EAN32 to get max depth".

I have a Zeagle N2ition.
The PO2 can not be changed. Mix 1 is 1.4, and mix 2 is 1.6.
The audible alarm can not be silenced.

Lets say that I am diving 32 EAN and the MOD for the dive is 130 fsw. I will set both mix 1 and mix 2 to 32%. While decending, I will switch the DC from mix 1 to mix 2. This keeps the alarm from sounding when I drop below 111 fsw /1.4 ppO2.

Lessons learned
#1 Do not buy a DC that does not let you change ppO2 alarm point.
#2 Do not buy a DC that will not let you turn off the audible alarm.
#3 Pay close attention to what algorithm is used in the DC. The Zeagle/Dive Rite/Tusa are conservative.

Thanks for the advice. On My TUSA I believe I can set the Mix 1 to 21%and Mix 2 (when it flashes) to 32% and get the 1.6 PO2 I am seeking. When I did this and did a dive plan it gave me a 132 MOD.
If that fails I will try your suggestion as I descend.
