better yet have the neck rethreaded at a machine shop get a keg valve put on it and use it as a keg! that or just fill it with beer and get a BIG straw!
With the privilege of diving, comes the responsibility of conservation. If you dont like this signature I DONT CARE!!!!!!!!

Old out-of-test tanks make excellent shot weights. A length of chain and some concrete and your done. We also use failed tanks (minus valves) in S&R training. They're large & heavy enough to be awkward underwater and can be a real pain to attach to lift bags, especially in poor-vis conditions.
Some franchises just never make it... CSI:Wagga Wagga was one of them.

But what a great post! I personally like the scuba tank cannon! Thanks Aaron.

Attach fins to it and mount on a car axle as a wind vane. would look like a bomb turning in the wind. Have done it with ac ducting and one fron an old 6ft tv dish. makes the nieghbors wonder about you too?

I would continue to use the old alloy tanks as long as they pass all the tests. But there are alternative uses.
