Long time lurker first time poster

Hello all from Tulsa OK. The wife and I talked for years about getting certified while living in NC. Go figure we'd put it off until we moved to Ok. But, I will say the dive community in the area is great and the lake diving is a lot more interesting than I ever imagined. This forum has been very intertaining to say the least and informative. I'm looking forward to being more involved.

Living in Tulsa you are within driving distance of interesting lake dives in OK, Arkansas, and Missouri

    Welcome.

Yep, been to a couple of the meetups already. Great group of folks. My wife and I were signed up for the Fling trip to the Flower Gardens that was cancelled.

Ok. Are you Kevin and Laura? I don't think we've met. You need to get out and dive with us.

They are a great group of people. If I hadn't met them, I wouldn't be nearly as comfortable in the water as I am.

That's us! Let us know when and where. We're heading to Oronogo next weekend.

Thanks Kat. If the chimps are the most animated and entertaining at the zoo, throwing poo and all. I wonder what the aquatic equivalent might be??

    Welcome.
We've only hit Beaver and Swepco so far, but Oronogo and Tenkiller are on the list for July. In Sept. we'll be going to Table Rock. What other regional dive opportunities are we missing?

Lake Diver freshwater lakes, rivers, quarries, and springs scuba diving resources including maps, reviews, and comments. :: USA Map

Check this link out, click on Arkansas, and Missouri...however, you sound like you've already got 5 cool lakes on your list

From OKC Tenkiller is about 2-3 hours, and all the others are further still. I envy your shorter drive
