The other day I found a black frog fish on my current trip. I was struggling a little bit with my lighting. Move the strobe every which way I could think. Cant help but wonder what am I missing. Either it looked just black and when I did get some details really up close I lost some details with shadows. I attribute some of this shortcomings to the fact I got the 1 strobe and maybe with 2 I could fill in some of the shadow areas. But I know there got to be some tricks out there for black and white subjects. So please shoot away. Before anyone asks I got a canon S90 on a FIX enclosure with an INON Z-240 strobe. I was shooting in Aperture priority mode. Any input is welcomed, getting ready to go hunting for the same subject and want some new techniques. Thx.
