    Remains of Hermine

Still getting rain from this sucker here in SA, man it really wailed on our town. Wind knocked down trees in the neighborhood and fences along with them. As a diver, I never complain when it rains, especially after last year's drought, but I was impressed with the shear amounts that fell over the last three days. Felt like a years worth. A neighbor found my trash cans a block away...water follows rock, trash cans followed water...

Looking a lot better here in NE ATX. The creek south of me flooded over the road, had to find an alternate route to work yesterday...

I think the biggest pain-in-the-hump will be that my grass is happy again and will start growing... which means I gotta mow more frequently again...

Yeah we got blasted the last few days. Just a few miles from me a small neighborhood had water up to the house roofs ... the families still hadn't been able to get back in as of this morning. It's crazy .... we go from no rain for days and days to 13 inches in my area, 15 inches just a few towns to the north. Guess I'm glad our house sits on a bit of a rise ....

Hoping all that rain doesn't totally trash the vis at Lake Ouachita this weekend!
