I probably didn't comunicate that well. The higher in the foodchain, I meant that what ever amont they absorb by just being in the water, is added to by, small contaminated critters are eaten by larger critters, which adds to their contamination. I just post one article, not everything I've read.

OK, this thread is meant in the same manner as the original, on our local dive group forum.

    Las Vegas Divers Forum

Check it out, no political discussion. Even the local stir-it-up guy doesn't do that.

How 'bout the garbage patches? We do those, or you think it was the cows?

inventor, I understand and appreciate your concern, but if you do not wish to read dissenting opinions, then why post in a public forum?

It's not about opinion. It's just a thread to post links to articles. How about, I'll start another thread, and we can all argue there. Until we figure out where the International Ocean Mafia (no, not the Sea Shepard idiots) are keeping large portions of the ice cap, and the sand and muck from the encroached areas. (Google it!)

    That good enough for ya?

If the locals can just read it for articles, why can't you?

By the way, do you argue with your TV or newspaper?

(You and ya are used in the Hillbilly tense, as ya'll.)

    It's only impossible.

Well that’s a real friendly title. Go Flog a Dead Horse, I find that childish. Why are you making this all personal? This is a scuba forum and we should be having fun while we learn. Why did you start the thread if you didn’t want some discussion? You don't get to post just your opinion. If you don't like what I post then may I respectfully ask that you ignore it? May I also ask that you mark your posts, that you don’t want any discussion on, not open for discussion, so that I will not give a con to your pro. I will of course respect your right not to respond to any posts on this thread about anything except request for information.
May I also point out that I never mentioned 6 beached whales. Perhaps you have confused me with some one else.
So let’s get back to talking about conservation, scuba and the ocean. I am pro conservation, pro scuba and pro ocean.

You said in one sentence, that took me two paragraphs to say. Best post of the thread so far!

So, what ocean friendly practices do you use? Got no problem with this being a public smack down on dogmatists.

    Here's the hierarchy:

Corrections dictated to those laying down dogma.

    Those laying down dogma.

    Educators repeating dogma.

    The unthinking absorbing dogma.

Those having dogma repeated to them.

    Those worshiping dogma.

    Those unable to question dogma.

Those hurt by any questioning of dogma.

By the way, same hierarchy of analytical thinking...no.

Let's wreck princesses. You don't want to think, and I'm really good at it.

    It's only impossible.

Sorry for the semi-drunken a**hatery. So, where's the ice? If warming has been debunked, what happened to the arctic ice? Why are villages in Alaska being moved because the permafrost is melting? Why is there a Northwest passage? Why are the Maldives going to be underwater? And who made the garbage patches?

    It's only impossible.
