Zeagle Din to Yoke (not convervter)

I am looking at purchasing a used set of zeagle DSV. It was setup as DIN and I was wondering if when I send it in for servicing, it can be converted to the Yoke setup. I would rather not use the yoke/din converter.

Yes it can be. The person that you are buying them from may have the yoke piece. If they do not I would imagine they would be around $30. This is something you can do yourself. I Have the pieces for mine and do it every so often as I use Din valves.

The guy who is selling it doesn't have the pieces. I was hoping this was something I could do if/when I send it to scubatoys for servicing.

Yep you sure can, takes less then 5 min to make the change.

I use din tanks while here, but when i go down south i have to use yoke and i dont like the converter so i just switch it out. ST im sure has the pieces you need, just send em a message.

wish I had thought to ask this. I want to go in reverse though. I love my DS-V and like the idea of not buying 2 1st's when I end up in dubls.

thats pretty well what i did when i started into doubles. The din piece was way cheaper then a whole new first stage especially when i had to pick up another first and second for doubles already. So after switching it out, i now have the yoke piece for when i go to places that i have to rent and they dont have din tanks.

I talked to the guys at scubatoys and in case anyone was wondering, the parts to do this were about $75.

Something I was going to do during servicing.

I dive the DSV and will tell you that in my opinion, you cannot go wrong with that purchase.
