if and when i ever have a SO, he's going to have to be a diver also
if it has tires or testicles, eventually it is going to give you trouble

I love my wife completely and unconditionally, but no, she doesn't dive and has no desire to learn. While she doesn't fully understand my nfatuation with this mistress I call SCUBA, at least she tolerates it and lets me dive some. She even said I could bring gear if we get to take a trip to the Carolinas this summer!

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)

We take turns picking things to do on "dates" instead of the usual movie and dinner, I planned a discover scuba class at a local YMCA.
We never looked back after that

Wife wanted to get certified and got as far as the last checkout dive before deciding she was not comfortable with scuba. She is still a snorkeling fiend but not interested in SCUBA.
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.

What if he is really handsome, awesome personality, very funny, kind and supportive but had a bad diving experience and will not dive anymore? Just curious.

My son has been a diver for a long time. Took me a couple of years to take care of some challenges....mostly really bad eye sight...lasik surgery has solved that problem (very concerned with safety and very limited eyesight without correction (such as losing my mask). My wife and daughter have absolutely no interest...

    Why not?
Is there an aversion to standing by your choice in a tame online poll?
