$1 for 1 or 2 pieces of sushi on the plate.

For the first time, I am placing someone on my ignore list.

Due to the fact that I am insanely jealous!

Can we get a tantrum smilie?

    It's only impossible.

It depends on which item you are interested in. I like the salmon and tuna and they put two pieces on the plate. For some of the rolls, there are six on the plate and other fancy ones there are only one. This $1 a plate thing is an experiment to see how many people in a blue collar area to eat raw fish. Apparently it was a hit for Jan so they are doing it again in Feb.

The place is called MarinePolis SushiLand and they are a chain in Japan. They opened one store in Oregon quite a few years ago and they have a new president in the US that is expanding the company into LOTS of new areas ... primarily the Northwest. I have suggested a few places in SoCal and he is in Las Vegas today looking around. Although, the lunch price at the LV Todai is pretty good and their sushi is great!

Closest thing to good sushi we 'round these parts is Joe's Bait and Sushi House: "Today's bait is tomorrow's plate"....

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)
