    let's try anyway!!! I heard recently that storm will not close but will absorb employees from 2 other plants that are closing... I still cannot find anything concrete though.

    I was there on Sunday. Surface temps are around 54*F with no noticeable thermocline at 25'. According to a friend of mine that was exiting the water as we arrived. We were not there to dive so I was glad to see an actual diver with good reliable information. :O) Both stacks were up and running.

    Just there yesterday.

    My family and I rode up there yesterday. I dont know what the temp was, (I forgot my computer) but the stacks were running and there were more cars in the plant parking lot than I have ever seen in the past.

    well, if there may be a picnic let me know- scubajane- if it's just us at the picnic we might as well use the picnic tables at PPG!
