    Thanks I may have to give this stuff a try.
    The plasti-dip does tend to wear off a little after some time, but it's cheap so i can re-apply.

    Has anyone ever tried this type of product on soft weights?

    Doesn't someone make a touch-up kit for truck bed liners in an aerosol can? I would think that would make a good, tough coat on the weights.

    I was thinking the same thing. I know that someone makes it since I have used it. I think it was Herculiner and I bought it at K-mart.

    I used the stuff for tool handles from Home Depot and it has been about 60 dives and they live in my weight bag with other weights and they look the same as the day I coated them.

    I tried truck bed liner and plastic dip. If the weights hit together alot it wont hold for long. If you use pouches it will last for quite awhile.
