    Has anyone dived it? any pointers? any specific charters that are good?

    I honestly wish I could give you advice. Sine that would mean I've been there. I've read about it, but alas, I have no advice to give. Sorry.

    try ScubaBoard, or the DecoStop. They have threads on several U-Boats.

    It's only impossible.

    Old thread I know but Canned Air is one of the better charters. Pointers? Visibilty can be good 20 ft to very bad -1ft. The dive is very weather dependent. I've been diving it since the 1980's.

    So did you ever make it? This past Fall we had >40ft vis one day! First time I ever saw the sub completely after I'd guess 25-30 lifetime dives on it. Some Dolphins even showed up! It was magic, for RI anyway.

    I was not able to dive the wreck nor been to Southern New England to know which charters are good. We did plan of diving the German submarine, but time constraints, some unfortunate events and whatnot forced us to postpone it. So sad.
