    Dropped Scuba Tank On Toe

I dropped an AL 80 on my toe this morning and it hurts like a sunny bitch. It's true what they say. Don't leave a scuba tank standing when it is unattended. @#$%^&* How could I make such a rookie mistake?

I think that you should call a toe truck.

Toes break easily as well. Once the swelling goes down, I tape mine for the support and possibly maintain alignment.

Thanks for the advice. As soon as my wife gets home and quits laughing. She may be able to tape it for me. It's just pink not black and blue and only slightly swollen. I may be lucky; but, I don't think it's broken. My wife's a Paramedic and hopefully she will be able to tell.

At first I was more concerned with my tank. It was in perfect shape, not a scratch on it. It was in fishnet sleeve so it may be okay. I'll go out there later on and check on it. I wonder if alcohol will cut down on the swelling. I was thinking a Margarita, maybe.

Ice... ice and more ice. Best thing for a bruised and/or swelling injury in most cases.

Fishnets on your scuba tanks? Seek counseling.

Well I probably do need counseling; but, this is what I meant. I was having a brain dump.
