Tank Rack for the Back Of My Truck

Just put this together today in about 3 hours and think it's going to work great. I haven't glue pieces yet, I just mock it put and used tie downs to hold together.

    Here are some pics...

All the clips and bands are for sidemounting.

Better build a couple more. I don't think you have enough tanks.
    What, me worry?

How easy/hard is it to get the lower tanks out?

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)

Noob -- I have a Sport Tac and fits within a couple inches of the top and I have a large plastic tool box the fits behind them and they are only a couple of inches from the tail gate. If they do move they can only move about 2 to 3 inches for aft and about 1 up and down.

Navy -- They fit really well and would be easy to slide in and out if I took the boots of the tanks. Even with the boots they are not that bad.

Snagle -- I have several people that wants me to make one for them. The only trick to making is find the PVC fittings and I found them online by searching for PVC patio furniture.

You know me -- I have enough irons in the fire. I have found material to make tank bands to hold hose that are really slick and stay in place. I have bunch getting sewed now and I get a picture of them when I get them back. I already can't keep up with demand already....

I found out that if you stack you AL80 on top of steels where you have metal to metal and drive to Florida you can rub flat spots in your AL80.
