    Strobe or video light

I have a sealife DC1200. Am about to buy a light source, for our upcoming trip to Bonaire. So my question to all the photo experts is do I get a stobe or use a video light for my pics. The vid light seems like it would light up the subject. Most pics are generally close up. Can anyone give me the pros and cons they have had or any advice for a new shooter.

It really depends on what you are gonna use it for.
If you are shooting only still pics. Then I would go with a strobe flash.
If you want to do some occasional video also, then you'll need a video light.
That way you can use video light for both.

I just won a nocturnal lights slx800i video light from Facebook and it is sweet.
Gonna use it on my gopro setup. Pretty cheap [email protected] 350$ for 800 lumen light.
The bonica video light is nice also @ 350$ for a 1000-1200 lumen light.
