Tavel, express tech or wicked lite?

I think I would prefer to dive in an express tech, but also want to be able to pack my gear into a carry on. Will the express tech fit in a carry on? Curious on thoughts. If I did do the express tech, I would just get small weight weight pockets to hold 8-10lbs on belt and add a couple d-rings. Would be used for warm water. I don't have access to either, current have used an escape the last few years which is great, just looking for less bulk while traveling. thank. BR

BR - the Express Tech will EASILY fit in a overhead bin-sized carry on, especially with the compact wing. Most of your other gear will fit in the same bag as well. Have fun traveling with it!
