Viz is almost always great, 50 plus feet, as it is spring fed. It's pretty shallow in a few places. Depending on the water flow you may have to walk 10 yards or so to the next deeper spot. I use an old BC as I sometimes do a little bottom bumping in the shallower areas and that cause's wear on my BC. I usually dive with an SPG an old pair of fins and no computer. Max depth maybe 15 feet. It's still a fun dive, especially if you scuba the chutes.

On most every dive I recover several pieces of jewelry, wedding rings, sunglasses, full cans of beer occasionally whiskey bottles (mostly full). I have recovered lots of articles of clothing, a couple pair of panties and several bikini bottoms. Not sure how someone can lose there underwear and not know it. Mostly thousands of empty beer cans. Got a brand new pair of Gucci sunglasses last time.

Bring a tube for your non diving time. I use the one from Wal-Mart that has a bottom and a side rope.

    Your answer is right there...

Don't expect 50' viz on cleanup day with people raking the bottom and pulling up trash but it'll still be clearer than most local lakes.
The water's more exciting.. with CHUM in it!
