    heading back to Roatan!

we are officially booked for a week at CoCoView Resort, Roatan in Dec. It will be our second trip there, so we know what we are getting and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
It is rainy season, just like our last time, but we don't care. Our last trip was FABULOUS.
you can read my 2008 trip report here: CoCoView Resort, 2008

    a few photos:

all rooms are oceanfront or over-water

    dive boats

    dive lockers

each diver gets a locker and the DM for your boat will get your gear daily and put it on the boat for you. Truly valet diving!!!
only thing you need to do is analyze your nitrox tank, the DM brings it to you, then puts it on the boat

boats are big and spacious, you are assigned to a boat for the week, so your DM and boat capt get to know you and what you want quickly

and then you can shore dive any time you want, just grab a tank and walk in the water

Can't wait to get there again!!!! Dive eat dive eat dive eat dive eat... repeat

    their website is here: www.cocoviewresort.com

they have a great new video up too:

Scubarobin? You are truly, truly Evil!!!! Showing these photos to comeone who hasn't gotten to dive as much as he wants too? That's just mean!

Now, I find myself wishing for a return to Roatan. Though I was at Anthony's Kay, Coco view looks great too.

I once saved a man in Wichita just to watch him dive...(inventor)

    hahaha... sorry!

Big difference between CCV and AKR is children. No kids allowed at CCV unless they are certified divers. That is for the best anyhow, since CCV has no pool or activities other than diving. If you are looking for an all adult dive resort, with only 19 rooms so you get to know everybody, then think about CCV.

One week and we are off to CoCoView and Roatan. I am so stoked.

Will be shooting lots of video, as well as my hubby shooting still photos. Our last trip he had just a P&S camera, this time a Dslr.

It is blue water. During rainy season you get a lot of run off from the island and it looks a little brown from that, but it quickly goes away. The first time we flew into Roatan we could see a brown area all around the island. The next day it was all gone.
